There is a direct correlation between Mold growth & Moisture
Mold Inspections
Mold is found naturally in our environment and when outdoors, molds play a vital part in nature by breaking down dead organic matter such as fallen leaves and dead trees. But if at all possible indoor mold growth should be avoided. When indoors, mold can cause major problems especially in humid climates but leaky pipes, roof leaks, floods or any other source of unwanted moisture provides great opportunities for mold to grow regardless of where you happen to live.
Mold can grow almost anywhere in a home including in hidden areas leaving a homeowner unaware of its presence or resulting hazardous effects. So don't hesitate to call us, we are professionally trained to detect, identify and offer professional consultation on specific strategies to address these health & safety concerns.
Specialized Non-Invasive Testing by Scanning Entire Surface of EIFS Exterior
O Hidden Damage Only Discovered O O Noticeable After Structural Failure
Probe Readings After Identifying Suspect Moisture also Indicates Damaged Substrate
No Cracking, De-lamination, Discoloration or Visual Damage Indications on Cladding

Exterior Insulation & Finish System (EIFS) Inspections
Having a house with EIFS, also known as Dryvit or Synthetic stucco is not the end of the world. And even though your house may have been built using it, with knowledge and proper maintenance everything can be just fine. Unfortunately the system has a history of water related failure and was involved in a large class action lawsuit where millions of dollars were paid out to homeowners for repairs.
This settlement and payout ended in the mid 2,000’s and there is no funding for addressing discovered current issues. This is where Advanced Inspection Services can help by performing a thorough non-invasive moisture scan of the entire system and identify problem areas and thereby saving time and money by focusing in on actual defects.
The inspection and service does not stop there. With Peter’s construction background and specialized training he provides specific actions that can be taken to both identify the extent of damage as well as giving direction using Industry Approved guidelines that a Certified EIFS repair contractor can work from.
As in any of Advanced Inspection Services, repairs, modifications and/or remediation is not offered since there are obvious conflicts of interest, although we do offer project management and oversight in order to make sure that all of the repairs are done correctly and not revisit the homeowner.
